This year's WoSS is organized by the University of Siena (CISCL - Centro Interdipartimentale di Studi Cognitivi sul Linguaggio).
The conference will
take place at the Complesso San Niccolò, Via Roma 56, on 15-16 November, 2012.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
PhD
students are invited to submit abstracts on any aspect of theoretical
linguistics (syntax,
semantics, pragmatics, morphology, phonetics, phonology, psycholinguistics, language
acquisition, computational linguistics).
Abstracts must be
anonymous and at most two pages long, examples and references included, on an
A4 sheet with one-inch (2.54 cm) margins and 12-point Times New Roman font,
single spacing.
Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per author. The abstracts must be submitted over EasyAbstract as PDF attachmentS by the 22nd of July:

Each abstract will be anonymously
reviewed by at least three international referees. Accepted papers will be presented orally (20
min. talk + 10 min. discussion ) or as posters depending on the nature and
quality of the work, you may however specifically indicate whether you would
like to present your paper rather as an oral presentation or a poster. The working language of WoSS is English.
Accepted speakers are
encouraged to submit a contribution to Studies in Linguistics – CISCL Working
Papers in Linguistics, distributed worldwide by MITWPL:
